  • TGIF Inc. is a California nonprofit corporation and is currently working toward federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt recognition. At this time, we cannot guarantee that donations are tax-deductible. Donors should consult a qualified tax professional regarding their individual circumstances. We will update this information once TGIF receives its official IRS determination.

  • Your donation directly supports the development and delivery of TGIF programs for foster youth ages 13–17. Contributions may help provide meals, books, creative materials, life-skills workshops, educational activities, transportation assistance, field trips, program supplies, and gift bags for participants.

    Donations also help TGIF build its first pilot program for foster youth and establish the foundation needed to expand our services throughout the Los Angeles community.

  • Yes! TGIF welcomes caring adults, mentors, business owners, foster-care professionals, artists, educators, community leaders, and other supporters who want to make a meaningful difference.

    Volunteer opportunities may include assisting with youth meetups, facilitating workshops, supporting events and field trips, sharing professional expertise, helping with fundraising, or contributing behind the scenes. All volunteers working directly with youth may be required to complete an application, background screening, orientation, and any additional safety requirements.

  • Yes. TGIF welcomes useful goods and services that support our youth programs. Current needs may include books, journals, art supplies, cooking materials, hygiene products, gift cards, meals, event supplies, transportation support, and items for participant gift bags.

    Businesses and professionals may also contribute services, meeting space, event experiences, workshops, or career-exploration opportunities. Please contact us before donating items so we can confirm that they meet a current program need.

  • Yes. You may make a donation in honor of someone special or in memory of a loved one. Because our automated tribute-donation system is still being developed, please email info@tgifinc.org with the name of the person being honored or remembered and any acknowledgment information you would like us to include.
